Dr Robert Percy Burgess is the Principal Endodontist at Bloom Endodontics and a recognised endodontic specialist registered with the Singapore Dental Council. With over 12 years of clinical experience, he is dedicated to the management of complex root canal conditions with a strong focus on patient comfort and long-term outcomes.

Dr Burgess obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from the National University of Singapore, where he received advanced specialist training in root canal treatment. Before entering private practice, he served as an Associate Consultant at Woodlands Hospital, where he was the sole endodontist responsible for managing advanced endodontic cases across the dental department.

 

He has also served as a clinician at several major public institutions, including the National University Centre for Oral Health Singapore (NUCOHS), National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), gaining extensive experience across a broad range of clinical settings.

 

Widely regarded for his calm and gentle approach, Dr Burgess has been recognised with multiple Patient Service Excellence Awards. He remains actively involved in advancing the specialty, serving on the Executive Committee of the Society of Endodontists, Singapore, and regularly contributes to professional education through international conferences, lectures, and hands-on clinical workshops.
